Shady R. Abuyusuf is an English Teacher who is originally from Damietta, Egypt. He has been in the field of ELT since he graduated from Damietta University in 2001. In 2010, he received his foundation certificate in Translation from the American University in Cairo (AUC). And three years later, he studied with Cambridge University and obtained his DELTA, a Diploma in English Language Teaching (ELT) at a Master Degree level. In 2015, he received training as a teacher educator form TESOL International Association and as a Trinity College CertTESOL tutor from OxfordTEFL in Barcelona, Spain. In the same year, he designed the Computer-based Placement Testing System for the Canadian International College  and the TEFL programme for the Centre for Developing English Language Teaching, CDELT, at Ain Shams University  . In 2016, Shady established a CELTA centre at Future University in Egypt and in the same year he travelled to Durban Language Centre in South Africa to receive Cambridge training to become a CELTA tutor. In 2017, Shady received his letter of appointment as a CELTA Tutor from Cambridge University . In addition to that, Shady is a well-known presenter in both local and international conferences such as the CDELT, the NileTESOL and TESOL Arabia. He also assists such conferences by being either a member in the organising committees or a proposal reviewer. Currently, he is the head of Teacher Training & Programme Development at Future University in Egypt (FUE) .
