The teacher, mentor, and friend. No better words than these to label Shady Abuyusuf. The man whom I stumbled on six years ago on one of the professional development events in the American University in Cairo. Although we had not known each other, we quickly became friends. He guided me, coached me and gave me a job that later became my career journey. We traveled to three different countries together (Turkey, France, and Spain) for educational purposes and fun of course. We spent very interesting time. You can’t simply get enough of Shady’s knowledge. He’s truly the captain of the ELT ship and I am glad to be one of his crew. I sincerely wish him all the luck in all his endeavors and career.
