Please read this disclaimer carefully before enrolling in the course.
By joining the course, I confirm that I have read, understood and accepted the conditions below.
I confirm that I am able to participate in the course and that my personal, professional, health, travel or technical circumstances will not prevent me from attending sessions, completing the required work or participating fully.
If I require reasonable learning support or adjustments, I understand that I should inform Britishey Training Centre as early as possible.
For face-to-face delivery, I understand that travelling to and from the training venue is my responsibility.
For online delivery, I understand that I am responsible for having a suitable device, stable internet access and an appropriate learning environment.
I understand that Teaching English for the Egyptian Baccalaureate is a teacher-training and professional-development course. It is not a general English-language course.
The course is designed to develop knowledge and practical skills related to:
Course foundations
Reading, evidence and critical literacy
Listening, vocabulary and grammar
Speaking and writing
Assessment and classroom implementation
I understand that the course may include live input sessions, independent study, reading, written tasks, lesson and materials planning, observation, presentations, practical activities, feedback and reflection.
I understand that the course requires serious and consistent commitment. I may need to complete tasks, prepare lessons or materials, respond to tutor feedback and undertake independent study outside the scheduled course hours.
Regular attendance and active participation are essential. I am expected to attend all scheduled sessions, whether the course is delivered online or face to face.
I understand that absence, lateness, incomplete work or failure to participate may affect my progress and may prevent me from meeting the course-completion requirements.
I understand that successful completion depends on meeting the requirements communicated by Britishey Training Centre. These may include attendance, participation, assignments, lesson or materials planning, practical activities, assessment tasks and professional conduct.
I understand that submitting work or attending sessions does not automatically mean that I have successfully completed the course. All required components must meet the stated standard.
I may be asked to revise or resubmit work that does not initially meet the required standard. Repeated failure to meet the requirements may prevent me from completing the course.
I understand that all course fees must be paid according to the deadlines established by Britishey Training Centre.
Failure to pay the required fees by the stated deadlines may result in the loss of my place or suspension of access to the course and its materials.
Once I am enrolled, refunds, withdrawals and transfers will be handled according to Britishey Training Centre’s published policies and applicable law.
I understand that all submitted work must be my own. I must not copy material from websites, books, other participants, previous participants, artificial-intelligence tools or any other source without appropriate acknowledgement.
Plagiarism, copying, falsification, collusion or any other form of academic dishonesty may result in work being rejected, a request for resubmission or removal from the course.
Generative artificial-intelligence tools—including ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and similar services—may only be used responsibly, transparently and in accordance with tutor instructions.
Permitted uses may include:
Generating initial ideas
Researching teaching concepts
Exploring possible classroom activities
Creating preliminary reading lists or reference suggestions
AI-generated content must not be submitted as my own work. Any permitted use of AI in assignments, lesson plans, teaching materials or reflective work must be clearly acknowledged.
Hidden, unreferenced or dishonest use of AI will be treated as academic malpractice.
Britishey Training Centre may investigate suspected malpractice, reject work, request resubmission or withdraw a participant from the course where academic dishonesty is suspected or confirmed.
I understand that I will receive feedback from tutors and may receive feedback from other participants. I agree to respond professionally, respectfully and reflectively.
I am expected to maintain professional conduct during live sessions, online activities, face-to-face sessions, group work, practical activities, written communication and feedback discussions.
Disrespectful, aggressive, discriminatory, dishonest, disruptive or otherwise unprofessional behaviour may result in removal from the course.
For online courses, I confirm that I have the digital skills necessary to attend live sessions, access course materials, submit work, communicate with tutors and participate in online activities.
For face-to-face courses, I understand that some components may still require internet access, digital submission or use of an online learning platform.
I understand that problems with my device, internet connection, email account or platform access are my responsibility unless the issue is caused directly by Britishey Training Centre.
I understand that my progress may be monitored through attendance, participation, task quality, lesson or materials planning, practical work, professionalism and response to feedback.
Britishey Training Centre may contact me if my attendance, participation, conduct or academic progress causes concern.
I am responsible for my health, safety and well-being during the course.
For face-to-face delivery, I agree to follow the health and safety requirements of the training venue. For online delivery, I am responsible for ensuring that my learning environment is safe and suitable.
Britishey Training Centre is not responsible for absences, delays or interruptions caused by illness, personal emergencies, travel difficulties, internet problems or equipment failure outside its reasonable control.
A deferral may be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness or a significant personal emergency.
I understand that approval is not automatic and remains subject to Britishey Training Centre’s discretion, published policies and course availability. Additional fees may apply where permitted.
If a deferral is approved, I may be required to join a later course, follow a different timetable or complete additional work because of changes to the course structure.
