eina Tarabay is an experienced English language teaching professional, Cambridge CELTA Trainer, teacher trainer, academic manager, and English language examiner. She is Lebanese Australian and a native speaker of English, with extensive experience in English language teaching, teacher education, academic coordination, course design, and quality assurance.

Zeina holds the Cambridge CELTA and Cambridge DELTA Module One, and she successfully completed Cambridge DELTA Module Two: Developing Professional Practice with Merit. She has also completed Cambridge Train the Trainer and holds advanced professional development qualifications in methodology and language awareness. In addition, she has worked as an approved Cambridge speaking examiner for FCE and CAE and as a BULATS speaking and writing assessor.

Since 2019, Zeina has worked as a Cambridge CELTA Trainer, supporting trainee teachers through teaching practice, lesson planning, feedback, reflection, and professional development. Her teacher training experience includes delivering input sessions, coaching teachers, observing lessons, providing developmental feedback, and supporting teachers in applying effective classroom methodology.

Zeina has held senior academic leadership roles, including Director and Director of Studies, where she was responsible for teacher development, academic scheduling, placement testing, course design, staff monitoring, quality assurance, examination design, and student academic support. Her work has included managing English language programmes, training teachers in the use of new coursebooks, tailoring courses to learners’ needs, and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

She has also contributed to several teacher development and educational projects, including training teachers and staff working with refugee learners, supporting national curriculum delivery, coaching master trainers, and delivering professional development sessions on areas such as technology in ELT and demand-high teaching. Her experience covers general English, Business English, exam preparation, young learners, adult education, intensive English programmes, and one-to-one course design.

Zeina brings to Britishey Training Centre a strong combination of classroom expertise, teacher training experience, academic management, and examiner insight. Her approach is professional, supportive, reflective, and learner-centred, with a clear focus on helping teachers develop practical classroom skills, principled decision-making, and confidence in their professional practice.
