Learn about us
Britishey Training Centre is a distinguished Egyptian institution founded in 2001 by Shady R. Abuyusuf, a certified Cambridge CELTA trainer. Focused on the education and professional development of language instructors, Britishey initially provided English teachers in Egypt with access to renowned courses from top UK colleges and universities. The exceptional execution of these programs led to a rapid increase in the centre’s regional acclaim.
We take pride in employing English language instructors with diverse backgrounds, ages, and levels of expertise, who have experienced success through our comprehensive training programs. Over the years, Britishey has solidified its status as an official Cambridge Assessment English (CELTS/CELTP/TTT) Teacher Development Centre. As such, we have introduced these three acclaimed English Language Teaching (ELT) courses from Cambridge Assessment to the Egyptian market, attracting numerous educators who teach English as a second language.
In 2020, as the sole representative for Euroexams in Egypt, Britishey enabled Egyptians to take internationally recognized tests developed in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). Furthermore, in 2022, Britishey introduced the region’s first level-six teaching course, CertPT, becoming the first course validated provider in the Middle East and Africa for Trinity College London.
Our highly knowledgeable and experienced instructors at Britishey strive to provide the finest training for educators, resulting in our graduates gaining a national reputation for their skills in lesson planning and delivery. Consecutively, in 2023, Britishey became an International Centre for Training Qualifications UK, further enhancing our offerings and maintaining our commitment to providing unparalleled language education and instructor development opportunities.
