Britishey is a language teaching and teacher training school based in Egypt. It was established as a teacher training school by Shady R. Abuyusuf, a Cambridge CELTA tutor, in 2001. Britishey started in the market by offering London Teacher Training College Programmes to English teachers in Egypt.
These programmes were delivered with a high level of proficiency and the centre became well-known all over the country. The teachers who graduated from these programmes were hired later to teach English language to students of different ages and levels. This even brought more fame and excellent reputation to the centre. Years passed and Britishey became a CELTS/CELTP/ TTT centre for Cambridge Assessment English, which is part of Cambridge University. It was our school that presented these three Cambridge Assessment English programmes into the Egyptian ELT market. Upon which, the centre became a destination for every English language teacher in Egypt looking for professional development. In 2020, Britishey became the only representative for Euroexams in Egypt allowing Egyptians the opportunities to sit for an internationally recognised test designed according the Common European Framework of Reference CEFR. Britishey tutors are highly qualified and well-trained to deliver teacher training programmes of the highest quality. Our teachers are known all over the country for their level of proficiency and understanding of both planning and teaching at an excellent level.
