CELTA Tutor
Britishey Training Centre is pleased to introduce Victoria Taranova, an accomplished CELTA Main Course Tutor joining our faculty for upcoming cohorts. With more than twenty years in ELT and teacher education, Victoria brings a rare blend of academic rigour, practical insight, and calm, supportive mentoring that helps candidates excel under pressure.
Victoria holds the full DELTA (Module 1 Distinction, Module 2 Distinction, Module 3 Merit), CELTA (Grade B) and the CELTA YL Extension, alongside TKT Modules 1–3 and CLIL, and a degree in Linguistics and Translation. She has facilitated more than thirty-five CELTA courses across formats—online and face to face, intensive and part time—maintaining a strong track record of candidate success.
Her core strengths include: conducting selection interviews and diagnosing trainee needs; designing and delivering clear, well-sequenced input; observing teaching practice and providing precise, constructive feedback; running tutorials that set actionable goals; and supporting candidates with the assessed components and course administration. She has also mentored new trainers, helping three Trainers-in-Training progress toward accreditation.
As she joins Britishey, Victoria will focus on high-impact input, principled classroom practice, and dignified, developmental feedback. Known for her organisation, attention to detail, and steady “can-do” approach, she creates a professional learning environment where trainees feel both challenged and supported.
We’re delighted to welcome Victoria to Britishey Training Centre and look forward to the expertise, energy, and care she will bring to our CELTA programmes and the wider training community. Her arrival strengthens our mission to elevate teacher preparation and learner outcomes across all contexts.
