Shady r. Abuyusuf

Shady, the esteemed founder and CEO, is a distinguished Cambridge University CELTA tutor with an extensive background in the ELT field since 2001 after graduating from Damietta University. In 2010, he earned his Foundation Certificate in Translation from the American University of Cairo (AUC). Shady continued his professional development by obtaining a Diploma in English Language Teaching for Adults, commonly referred to as the Cambridge DELTA, through English Language Assessment, Cambridge University in 2013.

In 2015, Shady underwent Teacher Educator Training from the TESOL International Association and subsequently completed a second training program in Barcelona, Spain, qualifying as a CertTESOL tutor. The following year, he established a CELTA center at Future University in Egypt while simultaneously participating in Cambridge University’s trainer-in-training program to develop his skills as a CELTA tutor. In 2016, Shady also received a certificate of proficiency in Received Pronunciation from the internationally acclaimed dialect coach, Paul Meier.

Shady’s credentials were further solidified in 2017 when he received his letter of approval as a CELTA tutor from Cambridge Assessment English, a division of Cambridge University. He then went on to graduate from the University of Leicester’s MA in TESOL & Applied Linguistics program in 2018. His work has been endorsed by numerous esteemed ELT practitioners, including Scott Thornbury.

After Britishey received accreditation as a course-validated provider by Trinity College London in 2022, Shady became an assessor for the Trinity Certificate for Practising Teachers (CertPT) the same year. Throughout his career, Shady has conducted a diverse range of seminars for educators across the globe, imparting his knowledge in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, France, Spain, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Andorra, Austria, South Africa, and Egypt.
