Key Components of DELTA Module 2

Teaching Practice (Observed Lessons)

Professional Development Assignment (PDA)

This is a self-reflective task where candidates identify areas for improvement in their teaching, develop an action plan for professional growth, and demonstrate continuous progress throughout the course.

Background Essays (Language & Skills Development)

Candidates submit two background essays that analyse language and skills teaching approaches, justify lesson choices using ELT methodology and research, and provide evidence-based improvements to teaching practice.

Experimental Practice Assignment

This assignment encourages teachers to explore new teaching techniques outside their comfort zone, implement and evaluate innovative classroom strategies, and reflect on learner outcomes and teacher effectiveness.
