Completing the CELTA has been one of the most valuable experiences in my teaching career. The course challenged me to develop both professionally and personally as an English teacher. My DELTA Module 2 journey with Britishey Training Centre was definitely one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences in my professional development. What made the journey particularly demanding was that I was completing DELTA Module 2 while studying for my Master’s degree at Liverpool John Moores University at the same time. Managing both programmes alongside my professional responsibilities required a great deal of commitment, discipline, and persistence. There were certainly moments when the workload felt overwhelming, but the encouragement and support I received throughout the course made a significant difference. I am especially grateful to my tutors, Adam and Betty, for their guidance, constructive feedback, and continuous support. A very special thank you goes to Shady Abuyusuf, Director of Britishey Training Centre. My DELTA Journey with Britishey I had the privilege of completing my Cambridge DELTA Modules 2 and 3 with Britishey, and I can honestly say that this has been one of the most valuable and transformative experiences of my professional teaching career. For those who may not be familiar with it, the Cambridge DELTA (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is one of the most prestigious and internationally recognised qualifications for experienced English language teachers. It is a demanding advanced professional qualification designed to deepen teachers’ knowledge of language, learners, teaching methodology, classroom practice, professional development, research, and reflective practice. My DELTA journey with Britishey was exceptional, not only because of the quality of the academic guidance, but also because of the people who supported me throughout the process. Adam Bejsovec deserves special recognition for his outstanding academic support and expertise. His extensive knowledge of ELT and DELTA, his ability to explain complex concepts clearly, and his thoughtful guidance helped me develop a much deeper understanding of the principles behind effective teaching. His feedback encouraged me to think critically about my teaching decisions, analyse my classroom practice, and become a more confident and reflective practitioner. Adam was always approachable, supportive, and generous with his knowledge, and his guidance was invaluable throughout my DELTA journey. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to Beta Zenska Polisenska, whose support was equally invaluable. DELTA Module 2 was a particularly valuable opportunity to develop my professional practice through coursework, lesson planning, teaching, observation, evaluation, and reflection. It challenged me to examine my teaching systematically and use evidence and feedback to identify areas for further development. DELTA Module 3 took this development even further by requiring independent research, critical analysis, needs analysis, and the design of a course programme within an ELT specialism. It was a challenging but incredibly rewarding experience that strengthened my ability to conduct research, make pedagogically informed decisions, and connect theory with the real needs of learners. The journey was certainly demanding, but having such knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated tutors made a huge difference.
